Privacy Policy
This policy explains how Daydream Digital LLC ("we", "us") handles information when you use our website (daydreamdigital.app) and our mobile and web apps (the "Services").
Each app may also have its own privacy page at daydreamdigital.app/apps/<app-name>/privacy describing exactly what that app collects. If an app's page is more specific than this policy, the app's page applies to that app.
1. Information we collect
We try to collect only what an app needs to work. Depending on the app, this may include:
- Content you provide: for example, photos you choose to scan, text you enter, drawings, or other content you create in an app.
- Account information: if an app offers accounts, things like a username, a password (stored only in hashed form), or the identifier and email address shared by Sign in with Apple.
- Device and technical information: such as IP address, device type, operating system version, and app version. This is processed when your device connects to our servers or delivers app updates and notifications.
- Push notification tokens: if you allow notifications, a token that lets us send them to your device.
- Support communications: the content of emails you send us.
We do not ask for your precise location, contacts, or health records, and we do not access your camera or photo library without your permission. When you grant camera or photo access, only the images you choose to scan or upload are used.
2. How we use information
- To provide app features you request (for example, reading a receipt or estimating the calories in a meal photo)
- To maintain your account and saved content
- To keep the Services secure and prevent abuse
- To respond to support requests
- To comply with legal obligations
We do not sell your personal information, and we do not use it for targeted advertising.
3. Analytics and crash reporting
We currently do not use third-party analytics, advertising, or crash reporting tools. Our servers keep limited technical logs to operate and troubleshoot the Services. If we add analytics or crash reporting in the future, we will update this policy and the relevant app's privacy page first.
4. AI features
Some apps use artificial intelligence to provide features. When you use one of these features, the content you submit (such as a photo or text) is sent to our AI provider, Anthropic, for processing, and the result is returned to the app. We use Anthropic's commercial API, under which, per Anthropic's terms, customer content is not used to train their models. AI-generated results can be inaccurate, so please review them.
5. Service providers we share information with
We share information only with providers that help us run the Services, and only as needed for them to do so:
| Provider | Purpose |
|---|---|
| Railway | Hosting our servers, databases, and this website |
| Anthropic | Processing content for AI features |
| Expo (650 Industries) | Delivering app updates and push notifications |
| Apple and Google | App distribution, Sign in with Apple, push notification delivery, and in-app purchases and subscriptions |
We may also disclose information if required by law, to protect our rights or the safety of others, or as part of a merger, sale, or transfer of our business.
6. Payments
Purchases and subscriptions in our mobile apps are processed by Apple (App Store) or Google (Google Play). We do not receive or store your full payment card details. We receive limited information from Apple or Google, such as confirmation that a purchase or subscription is active.
7. Data retention
We keep information only as long as needed for the purpose it was collected. Some apps delete content automatically after a set period. Each app's privacy page lists its specific retention periods. When you delete your account, we delete or anonymize the associated personal information, except where we must keep it for legal, security, or fraud-prevention reasons. Server logs are kept for a limited time and then deleted.
8. Deleting your data
If an app offers accounts, you can delete your account from inside the app. You can also email contact@daydreamdigital.app to ask us to access, correct, or delete your personal information. We may need to verify your request before acting on it. We aim to respond within 30 days.
9. Your privacy rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, delete, or receive a copy of your personal information, and to object to or restrict certain processing. To make a request, email us at the address above. We will not discriminate against you for exercising these rights.
We do not sell personal information as defined under Nevada law or any other law. Nevada residents may still send a request about the sale of their information to the email above.
10. Children's privacy
Our Services are not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has given us personal information, contact us and we will delete it.
11. Security
We use reasonable safeguards to protect information, including encrypted connections (HTTPS) and access controls. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.
12. International users
We are based in the United States, and our providers process information in the United States. By using the Services, you understand that your information will be processed there.
13. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. We will change the effective date above and, for significant changes, give notice in the relevant app or on this website.
